I like this still life photo because the pure black background contrasts so well with the bright red and green on the strawberry. the texture and motion of the water adds a metallic, eye catching shine. The outline of the glass adds a nice shape to the photo, as well as symmetry. Overall i love this photo because of the elegant simplicity. For my still life photos, I am planning on playing off the beauty of simplicity. I plan to take simple situations and capture them in a way that brings out the beauty of all things simple.
