Still Life

Still life is defined as "the depiction of inanimate subject matter, most typically a small grouping of objects." I believe that this still life is intriguing because it takes two of the same simple flowers and makes them look so interesting and delicate. This caught my eye because it almost looks human like... the 2 flowers reaching for each other as though they are in love. The lighting is also very nice and compelling. In this still life, it is depicted so that the "objects" symbolize and mean more than how they appear.
