Still life photography is taken of inanimate objects, most often smaller ones. Because it is still, it gives the photography a chance to set up and make the composition just how they want it to be. This still life photo really interested me. I liked the simplicity of it. The white of the shoes really pops out against the dark blue sky. The lighting seems really nice, the background is well done, and I really like the depth of field. It also intrigues me because of the mystery that it leaves. It is odd that shoes are on a clothes line because you would not often seem them like this. This photo leaves you wondering and could be part part of a larger interesting story.
