Still Life
Still life photography is a photograph of an inanimate object. The technique of still life photography allows the photographer to compose and set up the object exactly how they want it so it captures the concept behind the average object. It allows the photography to perfect the lighting and position of the object so it does not have any flaws unlike taking a photograph of a model or environment. The yellow and green of the banana really pop out and then your eyes slowly move up to the peel and tip of the banana, catching all the textures. The black background allows your eyes to focus deeply on the textures of the banana and the wooden plate. Normally you do not serve just a banana on a plate, so this photograph is very mysterious as to why there are two bananas on a plate by themselves.
