Article Response

I think that every photographer sees photographs differently because everyone has something different going on in their lives at that moment that will change their view of the photograph. When taking a photograph, you must realize that everyone will think something differently about it either good or bad. To be the best reader of a photograph, you must put yourself in the photographers shoes and look at it from the point of view of how hard it was to make that photograph and try to consider every point of view. If you like the photograph or not, you should be respectful and instead of just saying it is bad, give them constructive criticism. Also, if you love the photograph tell the photographer because then they will know that they accomplished the hard task of taking everyone's perspective and thriving in making the photograph. This will allow the photographer to know what they need to improve on or it will give them confidence to take more photographs. This article gives me a new perspective about reading a photograph when I will look at other students photographs.
