This picture I used two layers. One of these layers was of me holding a magnifying glass facing the street. The other was of trees in my backyard. I created a layer mask and lowered the opacity so I could get my picture how I wanted in the magnifying glass. I used my paintbrush tool on the middle of the magnifying glass so the picture would show through. I blurred the hand slightly and dodged the trees to bring out more color. Then I the hit black and white button. In this picture I wanted to make the magnifying glass kind of show how there was once nature there but was paved over by man. Like a look back in time.
on my second picture i used two layers. one of a book, and the other a set of stairs. I cut out the staircase and put it in the middle of the book. Then I featured it ands lowered the opacity. The meaning is how reading ba book is like stepping into a new world
