I decided to make this picture because it depicts how teachers just pile on the homework and don't realize how much they are actually giving us. I feel like school work is "raining" down on me. I used many layers to make this photo because all the books and shadows are all separate layers. I used the same books and rotated them in different directions to make them all look different.
I decided to make this photo to convey that you cannot control nature, so you should stop and take in your natural surroundings that sometimes you don't see. I took a picture of the stop sign and used the polygon lasso tool. Then I dragged it on to the image of the ocean. The stop sign is put on the right of the photo because of the "one way." I also used the burn tool to make a reflection of the sign in the water.
I made this picture because it shows how sometimes you need to take a step back and look at the world from a different perspective. Seeing the world in a different way, helps you find a whole new view of yourself. I used the magnetic lasso tool to select the girl and place her on the clouds. Then, I lowered the opacity to make it more surreal.
