Surrealism Project Self-Critique

This is what I feel is my best photo.

This is what I feel is my worst.

Overall, I'm satisfied with my surrealism project. While I feel I could have done more sooner, I think it was a success. I think I had some of my best ideas put forward (such as the softball field inside the brick and the hallway in the sky) that made for some interesting, surreal pictures. I am impressed with ambition I showed as well, because several of my exposures required close cropping/use of the eraser tool to really merge the two images. Even though I feel the project was ambitious, it could have been more so. I could have had more than two layers each, done five or six photos, or used more techniques or just better shots. My technique was largely good, but lacking in some areas, such as in the smoothness of lines (I could have feathered them) and the presence of shadows. My best and worst photos exemplify these points; the brick has an ambitious, well-executed idea but the pot is somewhat poorly done and seems almost arbitrary.
