My theme for the surrealism project is growth. This picture shows the literal meaning of growth as a girl grows out of a tree. I used the quick selection tool to cut out the palm tree and the girl. I feathered their edges. I desaturated all of the following pictures.

This is a picture of a girl in God's hand being "planted" as a seed. This is where all growth starts. I used the quick selection tool to cut out the girl and the hand. I positioned them on top of each other.

This picture symbolizes growing up.  A girl starts out riding a smaller and simpler bike and moving on to a larger kind of bike as she gets older. I used the quick selection tool to select the motor bike with the older girl on it and put it on top of one of the smaller bike's wheels. The tire was cut off so I used the paintbrush and the burn tool to fix it. I made it brighter too.

This shows a girl sitting on top of a pine tree She rises up higher as she gets older, and she is holding a globe because she can travel more as she gets older. She is looking at the places she wants to go. I used the quick selection tool to cut the girl out and feathered the edges of her after I positioned her on the tree.
