I chose to do this surreal image because I have always imagined myself living right on the ocean. I always thought it would be cool for each family to have their own island in the middle of the ocean with just a house. We would use boats for cars to go to other islands like the grocery store. I used the magnetic lasso to crop out the house to place on the ocean. This ocean was really flat that day so it looks really real because it looks like you walk right into the house from the ocean.
This image is a picture of my doors going into my garage. I went to the sunrise one morning to take this picture to place inside the doors. Since I would love to live right on the ocean, walking right into the beach would be awesome, watching the sunrise. I use the polygonal tool to cut out the inside garage and then put the sunrise layer under the garage layer to make this image look surreal.
This picture shows the boy walking on top of the trees reaching into the sky. It looks like he is a giant walking on the palm trees. I photographed a picture of the boy jumping and then I cut him out using the magnetic lasso tool. I placed that layer on top of the sky to make it look like he is reaching for the sky.
This heart bowl is in my front yard. This picture's meaning is to follow your heart. The sky is the limit. You can go anywhere and everywhere you want to go in your life at this point. The heart bowl is the world and the sky is the limit. For this image, I put the sky on top of the heart and used the brush tool and set the backgroud to black. I put a white layer on the sky layer so when I used the brush tool to take away the parts of the cloud I did not want, the cloud fits right into the heart bowl.
