This image is a house that has been separated from the ground. This house looks like it could be a town. When I see this image I feel like it symbolizes someone who lives in a house that is their world and that the person who lives there does not interact with the world outside of their own life. It shows that people can make there own live entertaining without having to follow the lead of other people's life.
I think that what you said is true. I also think it was a town, but not a house.
