I really like this surrealism because they used a lot of imagination and creativity in it. I feel like this photo captures people in an imaginative world. In my project I would like to be able to capture that concept as much and the photography did in this photo.

I really like this image because it is very interesting to look at, but it does not look fake. It flows really well and looks natural. For my project, I want to make my pictures be as natural-looking as this one because it makes the focus what you are tryinh to show in your image instead of sharp edges that stick out awkwardly. 

This photo is surrealism because it is combining several photos together in one. I like the simplicity of this photo, and although its simple it still has a lot of depth to it. I hope in my project that i can capture the same essence and to make it look life like, but still have the dream life effect to it.

Surrealism ideas and photo

This painting is a surrealism photo because it took two ideas and combined them. There is a hand in the desert holding a tree and girl in the rain. For my surrealism project I have four ideas. My first will be a car facing a fork in the road while both sides of the car are going down each road. My second idea is a worker at his desk while there is a pencil merged with one hand and a coffee mug merged with the other. My third idea is a person holding up a magnifying glass at a populated man made area and inside the glass will be nature, or what it formally was. My fourth idea is a lot of children around a tree while there is a women merged with it while opening her arms.

I like this picture because it has different layers and has a lot of depth to it. It shows what the person sees and their view on what they see. For one of my pictures I am taking a picture of a horse's eye and showing things from a horse's perspective.

I like this surrealism image a lot because you can tell the photo is not real but it looks so believable. After a while it almost looks like the lips could be drawn on, around the actual eye. I like how it can portray the idea that people look at you and view you by what you say and put out there with your words (mouth). I like the contrast of the red lips and the bright green eye. In my project, I really want my photos to pop like this photo does and make my photographs have a theme the way this one does. 

 I like this photo because it is very unique and shows two different stories. It shows a young woman and a place. My project's theme will be about dreams.

i liked this photo because theres a lot of things you can look at. It captures your eye. Im going to try and do the same with my project. I want my pictures to make an impact.

Surrealism Photography Griffin Stinson

I chose this surrealistic photo because of its sense of mystery. I also like how well the rock blends with the background and how the shadow looms over the mystery person. Furthermore,this photo is surrealistic because in real life a rock would not float in the air but in this photo it is made possible.

This picture is considered serialism because it is three pictures in one to make up a story or picture of something. What I am planning to do for my serialism project is to take a picture of the great oak and take a picture of the episcopal school of Jacksonville sign and put them in the same picture because when I think of the great oak I think of episcopal school of Jacksonville. Another picture that I am going to do is take a picture of someone holding an apple and then take a picture of a text book, then put them in the same picture. These two pictures pictures are good together because when I see an apple I think of academics.

Surrealism

I like this picture because it shows someone reaching for her own face on the surface, but I think it really is someone who is searching for themselves. I am going to do something similar in my project. My over all theme will be someone who sees the happiness and sadness within themselves.

I chose this picture, because I think it's cool.  I think that it shows the person's vision for society, and how they see people helping each other in the future.  It's almost like we can see into the mind of the person whose eye is shown.  This image captures the wishes of the human mind, and demonstrates the importance of charity.

I chose this picture because I think it plays with your mind. It shows a tunnel inside of a mouth and then the Taj Mahal. This is surrealism because its not possible for a tunnel to be inside a mouth.  It shows in some ways that you should expect the unexpected. You would not think that this picture from far away had a tunnel and one of the 7 wonders of the world inside of a mouth.

Surrealism Photo

This photo shows a rock awaiting its descent onto a human holding an umbrella. The umbrella shows the little defenses we have against dilemmas portrayed by the rock. I chose this photo because it portrays the obstacles that humans face everyday. In my project, I will use photos mostly showing humans and their struggles in life. I will also photograph natures disasters against living organisms.

This is surrealism because it is shows a women's face coming off. I like this picture because it shows that we hide behind masks and it shows her taking off her mask and showing her real self and who she really is. My idea for my project is to have the background of the beach and place random objects on it.

I found this photo on deviant art.com. I like it because it shows that everyone and everything has an evil and a good side. The girl looks bright and happy on the outside but when she looks in the mirror, there is a dark side too. I'd like to use this as my theme. I can show how different things have good and bad in them. I could show people and objects and their different "sides." Maybe I could have two of the same person (one good, one bad) standing next to each other and looking at each other.

I like this photo because when I was younger I would read books in the trees in my backyard a lot and this photo reminds me of it. I was thinking I could take a photo of the oak in my back yard and then photo shop an old door in it. I could not find who this photo is by. 

I chose this photo of a castle "built on" a cloud in the sky as my surrealism photo. This is surrealism because it is not possible for a cloud to suspend objects in the sky. My photo project will include surreal images such as a train or airplane on a neighborhood street, or people walking on impossible mediums such as the sky, or water.

Surrealism Photo

This photo really stuck out to me because it shows how focused this person is on the people in his/her life and just how captivated by them he/she is. I also like how clear the hands are in the eye. They give it a very lucid appearance. I would like to do something like this in my project about something that is captivating in my life, however I would most likely do this with a camera lens instead of an eye as the background.

Surrealism Photo

This photo is surrealism because it shows two real things in one situation and one of those things isn't real like the balloon with eyes and a top hat. I like this photo because of the color and how the balloon has eyes and a top hat. It seems like a reflection of the man himself just as a balloon. Some ideas I might do for this project is have a photo of someone in the woods and then have that in the lens of my camera. Another idea I have is maybe a picture in a cup of coffee, or someone floating about the ocean.  

I like this picture and I want to do something like this picture because it put a camera with its house so it is saying that photography is his life. The picture flows perfectly together it looks likes this is actually his house.

I chose this photo, by Erik Johansson, as my example of surrealism. Obviously, it is such because a house could not be built on top of a giant fish, but this picture makes it look like it could be. I find it interesting because the merging of the fish and the island is expertly done, as is how the fish is put into the water. I also like how the surface of the water and the horizon beyond are dealt with, and the little boat in the lake.

I have a similar idea for one of my pictures, but in place of a fish is a cloud, it takes place in the sky, and instead of tapering into a house the cloud tapers into a snow-capped mountain. 

I would like to do a picture like this with an image in my hands because i think it could convey the idea of being in control. I also like this picture because it takes a simple image of a boat on still water and make it a little more abstract by putting it in the person's hands.

This is a surrealism picture by George Grie. I like this picture because you can see the face in the rocks, it makes you think about the idea behind this picture. I think this picture shows a person having to overcome obstacles. My project theme is going to be growth. I want to put a face in the sky to symbolize God and I want the face looking down on the ground at his creation. I want to put "God's" hands in the photo with a flower growing out of his palms so it would symbolize him creating the earth.

This is A surrealism painting created by Andrew Blackman. I like this picture because of all of the bright colors and how the girl's hair is the base of the amusement park. I think this painting is showing how the girl's life is just bright and colorful because she hasn't grown up yet and she should stay young.  This picture is a surrealism painting because of how the girl is larger than the amusement park and how it is built on her hair.

My idea for the Surrealism project is to have a baby grow up and the changes of the surroundings of the baby change!

This is surrealism because of the trumpets that are on the elephants head.  It makes it look like the elephants trunk has been replaced by a trumpet.  How the elephants are tall like buildings and the birds are like people walking through a city.  I am going to combine images from sports, nature, people, and animals for my surrealism project.

Surrealism

This is a surrealism photo by Vladimir Kush because the panels of the windmill are replaced with butterflies. I think this photo is interesting because the butterflies draw your eye and the colors of their wings pop against the blue sky, and it is interesting to look at and causes you to think. For my project, I want to incorporate trees and clouds and nature into something that is something that is surrealism.

I chose this image because it stood out from the rest of the pictures to me. It really get the idea of identity across, because the first thing I think of when I look at this image is that the woman is searching for her identity.

Surrealism Photo

This surrealism photo is by Tommy Ingberg. I chose this photo because it stood out to me in multiple ways. One being that the big rock and the little man really caught my eye.  Second, these two photos were blended together really well. Lastly, the black and white keeps it cool, yet simple.  I am going to use the ocean and utilize it in many ways for my surrealism project because I live at the beach. For example, things floating on the ocean.

Surrealism

This surrealism picture stood out to me because when I was thinking of ideas, I thought of a hot air balloon in the sky. I saw this picture with the clouds for the top of the hot air balloon and thought it was awesome! Also, the lighting in the picture is super cool with the reflection. This is by Vladimir Kush. For my surrealism project, I am planning on photographing a wardrobe with it open with a forest in it so it looks like you are walking into the forest, but into a wardrobe.

I feel like this is a very good surrealism photo because it shows two real thing in an unreal situation. This Photo also makes me think about how much man wanted to conquer the moon in the 60s.

And how this man is trying to conquer the moon in this photo. i am going to try to project just like this with photo that has 2 meaning.

 I chose to replace the original photo because it is obviously posed, and the emotions are fake.  However, in the second photo the runners did not know that I was taking the photo.  The emotion shown is real.  The original photo was supposed to pass as candid, but the second photo truly is natural.

My first picture was my worst because it was of an animal. I said it was an environmental portrait, but animals cannot be portraits. My second picture is of my mom in the kitchen making dinner. She is in her environment and i asked her to pose for the picture. It is an environmental portrait.

The reason that I chose to retake this photo is because I think the original one has awful lighting. It is too dark and it looks kind of creepy. The new picture is not a candid like the original one, but she was laughing, even though I did not tell her to. I did tell her where to sit and stuff like that.

I chose this picture of the cat for my extra credit because it makes the cat look dark and evil and that is what I think of cats. His eyes look like they always look with the fire of evil and cant see through good.

AWESOME picture

This is absolutely amazing because Casey is asking a can of Chicken Noodle soup to Homecoming as well as professing her love for it. (with slow dance music in the background!) She has an unhealthy obsession with chunky soups.

Childhood Crayons (Extra Credit)

I like this picture because it reminds me of my childhood. I remember when I was little and I would be coloring then my crayon would break. This picture looks like the crayon is breaking in slow motion and that is how I would feel when it would break while I was coloring.  I like how the crayons are in order from the most broken to the whole crayon because it looks like first you broke the pink crayon then picked a new crayon to use but then it broke and that just kept happening until you were on your last crayon. I also like the shadow of the crayons on the wall because you can see the crayons breaking in the shadow.

 The reason i changed this picture is because the newer one does a better job of of capturing my little God sister in the true environment of a child. it also does a better job connecting to the other photo in the diptych.

The photo on the left was the original photo and the photo on the right is the redo. I thought the photo on the left was a poor photo because the light coming in through the window caused a glare on the rest of the photo, also I did not like the angle of the photo. I think the photo one the right is a much better photo because you do not have the glare from the window and the angle makes the photo seem like it  focuses on Mr. Deskins rather than on his desk like before.

This candid picture was paired with my friend Charlotte who likes to paint. This is a painting that she made in art last year. I don't like this for multiple reasons. You don't automatically understand the connection between this picture and Charlotte. Also, the color of the wall doesn't look good with the frame. The painting is crooked as well. I like the picture below because Charlotte is a dancer and it is obvious when you look at the pointe shoes that she likes to dance. The light pink looks good with the dark green of the grass. the small purple and white flowers look nice too.

Photo change

This picture here, on the left, is the worst picture that I am deciding to replace. This photo is an environmental picture that I asked my brother to pose for me. I am replacing this one because the color is pretty dull and it doesn't really show his environment to the fullest. 

The picture on the right is the picture I am replacing the one on the left with. I decided to replace that picture with this one because the color is way better and I like how I got the sun rays and some more of his environment in the background. This photo is also an environmental picture that I asked my brother  to pose for me too. 

New Candid

This candid picture is replacing mama June with her spaghetti. This lady is cutting fudge at Kilwin's ice cream shop. This image shows her being candid at work. Although mama June's picture is very interesting, I think this candid image is stronger because of her location and the delicious fudge she is cutting into pieces.

New Environmental

I choice to redo the environment picture of my cousin outside on her 4-wheeler because it was awkwardly too small. It was also not good quality. This picture is two of my teammates in their environment at the soccer field before our soccer game.
